CENTER OF MATHEMATICS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS (CMLA)
Research unit
CMLA research focuses on modeling and simulation of complex biological and physical phenomena or cognitive phenomena such as vision, perception, and recognition. Another component of this research focuses on learning in the analysis of very large data and the development of predictive algorithms.
The CMLA hosts interdisciplinary teams of applied mathematicians and experts in physics, mechanics, biologists, engineers, contributing to research activities motivated by real data and use cases from science and industry.
