UMS AMMICA / Laboratoire d'Immunomonitoring en Oncologie

The L.I.O is attached to the UMS CNRS 3655 & INSERM US23 AMMICa coordinated by Pr. Jean-Yves Scoazec. This laboratory is specialised in the evaluation of immunological profiles and in the functional analysis of immune populations. It monitors and characterises immune responses following the administration of immunomodulatory therapeutic products (immune checkpoint inhibitors, agonist monoclonal antibodies, cytokines, etc.).

Its main missions :

-To provide access to dynamic exploration of the immune system in patients treated with immunomodulators in the context of clinical research protocols.
-To enable innovation in immuno-oncology and its transfer to the clinic (R&D). This laboratory, integrated into a hospital structure, should make it possible to develop and validate biomarkers with the aim of better selecting patients. The study of immunodynamic effects should allow a better understanding of potential therapeutic combinations.
