Quantitative Genetics and Evolution-The Moulon

Research unit

Description

The UMR teams Quantitative Genetics and Evolution-Le Moulon produce research on the themes of genetic selection and on the study of biodiversity with the aim of genetic cultivated plants improvement.
The agronomic interests concern the improvement of the growth characteristics, the development, the adaptation and the plants nutritional qualities. This work is carried out notably through important partnerships with major seed companies but also within the framework of major projects (International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center).
