MIMA2 / Imagerie Photonique pour l’Embryon de Mammifère et les TOCs (IPEM-TOC)
Technological platform
The "Photonic Imaging of Mammalian Embryos and TOCs (Tissues, Organoids, Cells)" platform is located in the ISC MIMA2, an INRAE Collective Scientific Infrastructure on the Jouy-en-Josas campus. It includes a confocal microscope and microscopes equipped with the ApoTome module and/or for videomicroscopy. It also has a microscope for histology and will be equipped with a light sheet microscope in autumn 2021. As part of the UMR BREED (Biology of Reproduction, Environment, Epigenetics and Development), the platform has the expertise to image embryos of agronomic interest (cows, rabbits, sheep, pigs) or model species (mice). Its equipment is also available for observing cells, tissues and organoids, whether for research units on the INRAE campus or for external requests (academic or private).
