Laboratory of Signalling and Cardiovascular Pathophysiology (SPC)

Research unit

Description

The SPC revolves around three teams developing complementary themes on animal and cell models to study the mechanisms involved in cardiac function through membrane receptors, ion channels, cyclic nucleotides, energy metabolism, calcium, and intracellular compartments. The unit aims to elucidate new pathophysiological mechanisms and identify new therapeutic targets in the treatment of heart failure and arrhythmias. It is in charge of innovative projects within the LabEx LERMIT in partnership with other laboratories of the IPSIT.
