The MS lab is a research unit from Université Paris Sud which mainly focuses on the aging of pharmaceutical materials and drugs. It does so via 2 main research axis: (i) plastic materials used in pharmaceutical products and medical devices, and (ii) the drug modifications during pharmaceutical and environmental processes. The methodology for material aging study is based on a bulk and surface analysis of the material linked to the study of the interactions with biological media. This method allows the definition of the complex and dynamic relationships of the material with its environment (biological fluids, pharmaceutical formulations..) depending on the aging conditions. The drug stability studies are mainly conducted by liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry MS has major industrial and economic partnerships for and research.
