GENOPOLE / Banque d'ADN et de cellules

Technological platform

Description

Since its creation in 1990, the DNA and Cell Bank has been housed at Genethon (the pioneering laboratory of the Genopole biocluster, Évry-Courcouronnes), and has set itself the goal of promoting advances in genetics research by providing the scientific community with the high-quality services of a cell and human product bank. Its objective is to bank the memory of genetic diseases, mainly neuromuscular diseases, and to provide research teams, whatever the disease, with the human material necessary for their work.
