Technological platform

DIFFABS is one of the light lines of the SOLEIL synchrotron, whose originality is to provide the scientific community with a large number of instrumental techniques for the characterization of disordered, polycrystalline, textured or epitaxial materials. The main scientific themes addressed on the line are the following: behavior of materials at high or very high temperatures, mechanical behavior of materials (residual stresses, mechanical stresses), characterization of thin films and nanomaterials, analysis of archaeological and cultural materials, medical applications.
