CNRGH / Plateforme de séquençage
Technological platform

Within the François Jacob Institute of Biology of the CEA, the CNRGH (National Center for Research in Human Genomics) is dedicated to answering scientific questions raised by research in genetics and genomics of human diseases and has a recognized expertise in genotyping and high throughput sequencing, thanks to the development and implementation of innovative and integrated technologies. As such, the CNRGH operates a state-of-the-art high-throughput sequencing platform. The laboratory has recently acquired 3 NovaSeq (and already operates 5 HiSeq X, 1 HiSeq-4000, 1 NextSeq and 2 MiSeq) and also an MGI sequencer, the DNB-G400. This set of sequencers allows the sequencing of the whole human genome and other applications such as the exome, the transcriptome, the epigenome. A permanent follow-up of the technological evolutions and developments allows the platform to be versatile and competitive in order to offer the scientific community sequencing at the best costs and delays. The CNRGH can process several tens of thousands of samples each year. To ensure optimal traceability and quality, the laboratory has developed its own LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) to monitor the entire process. The platform is part of the national network France Génomique. The CNRGH is among the top 3 European laboratories in this field.
