Technological platform

The Experimental and Translational Pathology platform (PETRA) is in charge of all morphological analyses applied to human and animal tissue or cell samples, from the pre-analytical stage (slides/TMA/microdissection) to the analyses (histology/cytology, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, FISH), as well as the digitization of the slides and their interpretation (including image analysis) The platform is involved in a wide range of activities: - Preparation of samples for ancillary studies of clinical trials or for research projects - Preparation and analysis of tissue microarrays (TMA) - Research of tissue and cell biomarkers in the framework of therapeutic trials - In situ analysis of tissue and cell samples in the framework of scientific projects (academic or industrial collaborations) - Analysis of animal models - Transmission electron microscopy and ultrastructural immunohistochemistry - Image analysis
