The Biological Resource Centre (BRC) is responsible for storing all tissue samples from patients considered informative by clinicians. For these patients, who have all signed a consent form, plasma, serum and whole blood are also stored. The BRC also stores samples for health purposes and samples collected for biomedical research purposes.
The BRC platform, composed of two entities, the BRC and the ET-EXTRA module, is an organised structure with a Quality Management System that meets the requirements of the NF S96-900 standard: "Quality of BRCs". It thus facilitates both fundamental and clinical research carried out by the scientific teams.
