TEMPO (Time resolved Experiments on Materials with PhotOelectron spectroscopy)

Description

TEMPO is one of the light lines of the Synchrotron SOLEIL. Operational since the end of 2007, TEMPO allows photoemission and photoabsorption studies in the x-mous ray range. The specificity of the installation lies in the consideration of the time variable. The line deals particularly with the following topics
-Determination of surface and interface reaction kinetics by fast photoemission on the millisecond scale.
- Measurement of magnetization dynamics in nanostructures
- Performance of two-photon pump-probe experiments
