Réseau SMaCS - Spectrométrie de Masse pour la Chimie et la Santé
Technological platform
SMaCS is a mass spectrometry consortium for the analysis of small molecules in chemistry and health. It offers to the UPSaclay community and to the outside world an efficient set of interdisciplinary platforms that can be called upon for services in chemistry, physical chemistry, biology, pharmacology, galenics, clinical studies, "omics" approaches, the environment, energy, etc. The platforms are backed by a dynamic academic network of international scope. Human know-how is at the heart of SMaCS, with the consortium facilitating the synergy of technical and scientific skills. The SMaCS community is federated by regular meetings, joint research projects, site visits, technical meetings of the staff and thematic seminars.
