Prévention du Risque Chimique (PRC)
Research unit
PRC (Prevention of Chemical Risks) is a unit of the Chemical Institute (CNRS). Its mission statement is to supply scientifical and technical backup, the objective being to protect public health. Its activity is centered around 3 axes :
- expertise and counseling in chemical risks for public organizations and companies
- communication and information service for CNRS personnel and entities involved in chemistry. This service has european outreach.
- organization of training courses (both low and high level) for users of chemical products, safety overseers and doctors
