Technological platform

Description

The IRFU's Detector Characterisation platform brings together a set of characterisation benches dedicated to the R&D activities of detection chains covering 4 wavelength domains: gamma radiation with CdTe arrays, inherited from the INTEGRAL mission, X-ray radiation with microcalorimeters cooled below 0.1K, IR (+ Visible) radiation, inherited from the ISO mission (+ Megacam camera at the CFHT), and finally, sub-mm and sub-millimetre radiation, inherited from the Herschel mission
