Physiologie et physiopathologie endocrinienne

Research unit

Description

The HORMENDO unit focuses on endocrine hormone signaling and its pathophysiological aspects in humans. It focuses on several themes: the physiological and physiopathological mechanisms of steroid hormones action and the neuro-endocrine of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis.
Composed of biologists and clinicians working in synergy, the laboratory has international recognition in translational research in molecular endocrinology. This close collaboration allows the unit to work with exceptional cohorts of patients with neuroendocrine diseases, development or endocrine tumors.
