PATMOS

Technological platform

Description

PATMOS is a prototype Monte-Carlo transport code under development at CEA. It is dedicated to testing algorithms for HPC on modern computing architectures. It implements a two-level parallelism (MPI + OpenMP) to efficiently exploit many-core architectures. It has been tested up to several hundred thousand compute cores. PATMOS can also exploit multi-GPU platforms to deport its most compute-bound algorithms.
