ODE (Optique Dispersive Exafs)

Description

ODE is one of the light lines of the SOLEIL synchrotron. The principle of this line, which makes it possible to focus on the sample - without any displacement - the entire energy band useful for the instantaneous recording of the absorption spectrum, is particularly well suited to fast kinetic experiments (in the millisecond range) as well as to absorption measurements under extreme pressure or temperature conditions. The main themes are geosciences, chemical reactivity and phase transitions with a particular emphasis on magnetism under high pressure.
