MIMA2 / Plateau de microscopie électronique à balayage (MEB)
Technological platform
The scanning electron microscopy platform within the MIMA2 platform (MIMA2-MEB) has a set of equipment and techniques for studying biological objects (cells, tissues, microorganisms) at the ultrastructural and cellular levels.
The scanning electron microscope is equipped with FEG, STEM and BSE technologies. It allows observations to be made under high vacuum conditions but also under controlled vacuum for the analysis of hydrated samples.
With its expertise, the platform offers services ranging from sample preparation to analysis by observation and digital imaging on a field effect electron microscope. These services are offered in the form of a 6-sample package.
If the microscope is to be used on a regular basis, the platform offers to train the user so that he can carry out his analyses from the preparation of the samples to the observation under the microscope and the interpretation of the data.
