Technological platform

Description

The experimental irradiation platform offers the skills and know-how to use a state-of-the-art X-ray generator for the irradiation of biological and non-biological material. The main applications are the preparation of nutrient sublayers for stem cell culture, the evaluation of the use of stem cells in cell therapy, the fundamental study of X-ray injury, the identification of the mechanisms of development of radiation-induced cancers, and personalised medicine in the context of genomic studies of radiation-sensitive cohorts.
