IPSIT / Plateforme Criblage, Interface Biologie-chimie et Laboratoire Opérationnel de Transfert (CIBLOT)

Technological platform

Description

The main objective of CIBLOT is to help researchers identify small molecules that can be used as probes to modulate biological functions, and to provide leads for drug discovery against various diseases. CIBLOT provides a privileged interface for collaboration between biologists and chemists, and a framework for the transfer of scientific and technological skills between them.

CIBLOT is now an integral part of C@PS, a platform that brings together all the screening activities on the Saclay plateau under a single banner, which was awarded the IBISA label at the end of 2018.)
C@PS combines the skills of i) the CIBI platform (ICSN, CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette) for cytotoxicity measurements, protein/ligand interaction screening and in ovo screening, ii) the CTPF platform (ICSN, CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette) for measurements of protein/ligand interactions by thermal shift assay and transcriptome analysis by quantitative PCR, iii) the CCCHD platform (Joliot, CEA, Saclay) for high-throughput biological screening and the preparation of targeted chemical libraries, and iv) the CIBLOT platform (Faculty of Pharmacy, Université Paris Sud, Châtenay-Malabry) for protein/ligand interaction measurements using alpha-screen technology and the quantification of cellular parameters.
