Description

The laboratory develops animal models of infectious and autoimmune diseases in non-human primates (NHP). We have animal facilities classified for biological risk level 1, 2, 3 and 3 airborne contaminants and veterinary expertise in the science and techniques of animal experimentation in NHPs. The laboratory's activity is divided into two main areas
i) An operational activity that implements research programmes according to three main themes:
- Physiopathology of infections
- Vaccinations
- Innovative therapies.
ii) A research activity.
