ICSN / Plateformes de RMN

Technological platform

Description

The Institute of Chemistry of Natural Substances (ICSN) has a unique expertise in NMR spectroscopy for applications in chemistry, biology and structural biology based on a unique instrument park of ten Bruker NMR spectrometers. The NMR department is dedicated to small molecules and natural products and has over 30 years of experience in primary and tertiary structure determination, molecular dynamics characterisation, interaction and molecular complex studies and medium throughput structural characterisation on autosamplers and is equipped with five Bruker Avance spectrometers: two 300 MHz, two 500 MHz and one 600 MHz. The high-field NMR platform is largely dedicated to structural biology applications and difficult cases of analytical chemistry in liquid and solid phase and is equipped with five spectrometers: two 600 MHz, one 700 MHz, 800 MHz and 950 MHz. One of the 600 MHz spectrometers is equipped with a cooled sample changer, a TCI cryoprobe and a QCI cryoprobe (19F, 1H, 13C, 15N). The 700MHz spectrometer is equipped with a TXO cryoprobe optimised for 13C detection. The 800 MHz and 950 MHz spectrometers are equipped with a TCI cryoprobe. Sample pressurisation equipment is also available.
