I2BC / Plateforme de spectroscopie IRTF

Technological platform

Description

The IRTF spectroscopy platform is located at the Fundamental Mechanisms in Bioenergetics Laboratory (UMR 9198). It provides users with advanced IRTF spectrometers and is equipped to meet most IRTF analysis needs.
The platform includes 4 spectrometers with several accessories: transmission cell, ATR accessories, electrochemical cell, thermostats, cryostats for low temperature experiments... It allows the study of samples in different forms (liquid, solid, powder, etc.). The laboratory is specialised in low-temperature, time-resolved, differential IRTF spectroscopy and has good expertise in the study of biochemical and photo-induced reactions.
The IRTF spectroscopy platform is part of the I2BC Biophysics Platforms cluster which includes EPR, FTIR, Raman Resonance, Electron Spectroscopies and Super-Resolution Fluorescence Microscopy platforms.
