GENOPOLE / Centre d'Exploration et de Recherche Fonctionnelle Expérimentale (CERFE)

The Center for Exploration and Experimental Functional Research (CERFE) has the following missions: (1) breeding and functional exploration of small laboratory animals (rodents) through the production and conservation of murine genetic models and the in vivo evaluation of phenotypes; (2) providing equipped laboratories (L2A2 in particular) and (3) creating experimental models.
The CERFE also has scientific equipment such as an X-ray generator for the realization of medullary aplasias, a fibered confocal micro-endoscope, two imaging stations with luminescence and fluorescence, an ultrasound scanner, etc. The CERFE is accessible after authorization from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) upon a favorable opinion from the CEEA-51 Animal Experimentation Ethics Committee.
The CERFE is ISO 9001 certified.
