The PTR-MS service of AnaEE-France is an exploratory service that aims to promote the measurement of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions by the different compartments of the ecosystem (soil, plant, fauna, micro-organisms). We aim to develop methods for using VOC profiles as a tracer of the biological functioning of soils and the ecosystem and to quantify exchanges between compartments (VOCs are transmitters) and with the atmosphere (pollutants).
